We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Port Operations Officer

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

Job Description

• Sampling, Analysis and Testing of all incoming materials against specification.
• To ensure conformance of all incoming & outgoing material against approved specifications.
• To ensure incoming materials are being tested according to approved specification and operating procedures.
• To ensure reduction of wastage and spillages during vessel loading.
• Report deviations to department head and takes necessary action.
• Maintains necessary record and all documentation of all incoming materials.
• Required to have full testing knowledge in soya bean seed, soya bean meal and soya bean oil.
• Coordinates with external port operation teams to ensure fumigation is carried out as per defined frequency &SOP.
• To ensure all loaded material into vessel/ship meets customer specification.

Requirements for Tropical General Investments Recruitment

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.
• 2 – 3 years in Edible Oil Industry as a Raw Material Analyst.
