Job Title: Cargo Sales Executive

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cargo Sales Executive with a background in vehicle sales to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our cargo services, focusing on the transportation of vehicles and related goods.
  • This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets for cargo services, with a focus on vehicle transportation.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure smooth execution of cargo transportation services and timely delivery to customers.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective clients, negotiating terms and closing sales agreements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, including forecasts, pipeline updates, and key account analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to cargo transportation and vehicle sales.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in cargo or vehicle sales.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry, particularly in the context of cargo handling and vehicle transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
