EFCC Recruitment 2026/2027 Portal – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced its 2026 Recruitment Exercise Across Various Cadres and they are inviting qualified Nigerians to explore career opportunities across the various cadres, including Detective Superintendent, Detective Inspector, Detective Assistant, and Professional/Skilled Worker positions.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is Nigeria’s primary law enforcement agency tasked with investigating, preventing, and prosecuting financial crimes and corruption. Established in 2003 under the presidency of Olusegun Obasanjo, the commission was created in response to growing international pressure (including from the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering, FATF) to tackle economic fraud, money laundering, and public corruption.
Application are invited across the various cadres, including
- Detective Superintendent
- Detective Inspector
- Detective Assistant
- Professional/Skilled Worker positions.
General requirements
- Be a Nigerian citizen.
- Possess basic computer skills.
- Declare all academic and professional qualifications during the application.
- Be medically fit and provide evidence of fitness from a government-approved hospital.
- Have no tattoos on any part of the body.
- Have no criminal record.
For cadets
- Candidates must be single.
- Male applicants must be at least 1.67 metres tall.
- Female applicants must be at least 1.64 metres tall.
For professionals and skilled workers
- A valid National Driver’s Licence is an added advantage.
- Applicants must demonstrate good character and integrity.

Applications are completed online. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to bring a printed copy of their application to screening.

Preparation
Documents to have ready
Scan or photograph each document as a PDF, JPG or PNG. Each file can be up to 250 KB, or 500 KB for the professional certificate. Large photos are made smaller for you, but PDFs are not, so keep each PDF within the limit. The passport photograph must be a JPG or PNG. Which other documents you must upload depends on your highest qualification.
