Just to let you know that the code was given to some applicants who registered on the old portal NIYEEDEP. the new portal YEIDEP does not generate a code after registration, so do not panics.

The YEIDEP officials have stated that those who have created bank accounts, have nothing to worry. However, some bank like Fidelity Bank do not require YEIDEP code to create a YEIDEP Bank account online, while other bank like keystone bank do require code to create an account.

Important notice on YEIDEP Code Retrieval

The new loan application portal (YEIDEP) no longer direct applicants to a specific bank, this changes was made to ease thing the application process and make it less stressful for YEIDEP applicants.

All applicant data will be transferred to the banks, and account details will be generated for applicants and SMS sent to applicants .

What to do Next after receiving SMS from YEIDEP on bank Account

Upon receiving such a message, you are required to proceed to the nearest branch of the respective bank to complete their registration by uploading proof of identification international passport, voters card, photograph, BVN, NIN, etc.

To retrieve your YEIDEP code, kindly follow the below steps:

  1. Initiate a chat with the Admin of the Federal Ministry of Youth Development via their Twitter handle: @fmyfNG
  2. You can also call or email YEIDEP support team via the YEIDEP portal.
