Job Title: Procurement Assistant

Job Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and payment terms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop procurement strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth delivery of materials.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Stay informed about market trends, new products, and alternative suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing role.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
