How to Check the FCSC Shortlisted Candidates 2025
Follow these steps to confirm if your name is on the shortlist:
- Visit the FCSC Portal at https://recruitment.fedcivilservice.gov.ng.
- Click on the link titled “List of Shortlisted Candidates for the FCSC.”
- Download FCSC Shortlist PDF
- Open the downloaded PDF and search for your name or application number to confirm your status.
Next Steps for Shortlisted Candidates
Being shortlisted is a step forward, but not a guarantee of employment. However, all the applicants must undergo physical screening and maybe write a computer based aptitude test.
Federal Civil Service Commission Screening/Aptitude Test Requirements.
Candidates should bring the following documents to the aptitude test venue or recruitment center to ensure a smooth screening process:
Lastly, carry the scratch cards for your WAEC, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB results, which are required for verification at the recruitment centers.
- Photocopies of your Birth Certificate or Age Declaration to confirm your age.
- Next, include photocopies of your credentials, such as your First School Leaving Certificate or Testimonial, for verification.
Prepare a duly completed Identification Form, which must be signed by:
- The Chairman or Secretary of your Local Government Area (LGA), or
- An officer with the rank of Commander or higher (or equivalent in the Nigerian Army or Air Force) or
- A Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) or higher from your State of Origin.
- Also, a completed Parent/Guardian Consent Form, signed by your parent or guardian, as this is a critical requirement.
- Bring four (4) recent passport photographs and ensure they are signed and stamped on the back by the official who signed your Identification Form.
