With about 2,000 direct employees, Nestoil continues to redefine industry standards in Pipeline Construction, Repairs and Maintenance with associated facilities for Dredging, River Crossing and Shoreline Protection.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial / Business Controller

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of company’s financial transactions.
• Responsible for effectively managing the company’s financial resources and recommending strategies for managing operational costs and maximizing profits.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with the GCFO to develop/update and implement financial and accounting policies, procedures, and strategies.
• Develop annual plans, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
• Establish company-wide standards for systems, data, and processes.
• Design and implement a sound accounting framework ensuring compliance with tax and statutory provisions.
• Ensure intra-group balances are reconciled and variances resolved.
• Maintain liaison with regulatory organizations, auditors, banks, etc.
• Oversee tax computation, remittance, insurance premiums, and other statutory fees.
• Provide technical training and guidance on financial accounting issues.
• Review weekly reports and present timely reports to the GCFO.
• Ensure strict adherence to Corporate HSE Policy.
• Assist in maintaining financial controls across company operations.
• Coordinate financial transactions and consolidation of accounts.
• Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and timely financial and management information.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance or related field. Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
• Chartered Accountant with recognized Accounting Certifications (CIMA, ACA, ICAN, ACCA).
• Minimum of 10 years, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
