We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSE Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Responsible for developing and the review existing policies, measures and update them according to legislation.
• Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures,
• Identify and rule out unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
• Record and investigate incidents to determine causes
• Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information for management
• Initiate and organize OHStraining of employees and executives
• Performing inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances, etc.

Qualifications / Requirements for the Job

• First Degree in Engineering, Safety Management or relevant field from any reputable institution in Nigeria
• 1-3 years of experience as HSE personnel in a well-structured environment
• NEBOSH/OSHA Certification will be a huge plus
• Ideal candidate must be resident in Ikorodu or its environs
• Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Sound communications skills (Written & Verbal)
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly.
