WAEC GCE Result 2024 is finally out – The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates, second series.

Candidates who sat for the examination between October 25 and December 20, 2024, can now check their results online.

WAEC Results Trend – A Comparison With Previous Years

The percentage of candidates who obtained credit and above in at least five subjects, including English and Mathematics, has improved over the past three years:

• 2022: 42.16% of candidates passed with at least five credits.
• 2023: 44.29% achieved the same feat.
• 2024: 53.64% met this requirement, marking a significant increase.

Candidates who participated in the exam can check their results using the following steps:

1. Visit www.waecdirect.org.
2. Enter your WAEC Examination Number and Year of Examination.
3. Input your Scratch Card Serial Number and PIN.
4. Click Submit to view your results.
