3MTT Programme Application Form Portal 2023/2024, FG 3 Million Technical Talent Programme – The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, has launched the 3MTT programme, targeted at generating a pipeline of technical talents across Nigeria.

The 3MTT initiative is a component of the Renewed Hope agenda, aiming to create two million digital jobs by 2025.

The programme seeks to nurture a pipeline of technical talent, positioning Nigeria as a net talent exporter.

3MTT Skills Focus for the First Phase

The 3MTT programme focuses on the following twelve technical skills in its first phase:

The courses offered in this phase are designed to be approximately three months in duration.

Training Approach

Eligibility

The first phase of the 3MTT programme is executed as a fellowship model in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). To be eligible for this program:

Individuals must have a keen interest in specific technical skills
Training providers accepted into the programme will receive funding for the cost of training

In this first phase, the programme aims to train and place 30,000 technical talents, representing 1% of the overall target.

The program’s framework is a result of collaboration with key stakeholders across government agencies, training providers, educational institutions, development agencies, and the private sector.

The training offered by the 3MTT programme is hybrid, combining both online and in-person components. While most of the training can be completed remotely, certain aspects require in-person training, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.
