Eligibility and Criteria for Alvernia University Undergraduate Scholarships

Applicants must be international students.
Be a full time, degree-seeking undergraduate student attending mostly daytime classes.
Have earned a minimum 3.0 overall cumulative GPA.
Meet English proficiency and financial specifications.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship consists of several levels of support ranging from $10,000 to $22,000 per year as a merit award.
Offered to both freshman international students and those transferring from another college or university located outside the United States.
Renewable for four years (up to eight semesters), all in the same amount. Scholarships, including a government scholarship.

The application is a form that the applicant must complete and submit to the Admissions Office in order to apply for a scholarship. Please email international.admissions@alvernia.edu to obtain this application after you are admitted to Alvernia.

What GPA do you need to get into Alvernia University?

You’ll need to have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (higher for some majors) from a regionally accredited two- or four-year institution. A maximum of 75 credits will be accepted in transfer. You must complete a minimum of 45 credits at Alvernia to receive your degree.
