Job Responsibilities

Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and payment terms.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop procurement strategies.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth delivery of materials.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives.
Stay informed about market trends, new products, and alternative suppliers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proven experience in procurement or purchasing role.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers.
Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
