RECRUITMENT INTO THE FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE – The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for full time appointment to fill existing vacancies in the following positions in the Federal Fire Service (FFS).

Category A: INSPECTORATE CADRE

Inspector of Fire (IF) CONPASS 07 (Nursing)

Assistant Inspector of Fire (AIF), CONPASS 06

Category B: ASSISTANT CADRE

Fire Assistant II (FA II) CONPASS 04

Fire Assistant III (FAIII), Appliance Driver (Specialist), CONPASS 03

Requirements to Work with the Federal Fire Service

The following criteria must be met in order to be employed by the Nigerian Federal Fire Service:

• The first criteria relate to your nationality. Only citizens of Nigeria may apply.
• Another aspect to take into account is having the appropriate certificate. Below, we’ve taken the time to clarify the types of certificates that are required for specific occupations.
• Your health is important, and you will be required to provide a medical fitness certificate.
• Those that are eligible must be at least 18 and not older than 30.
• Your height must be at least 1.65 meters for men and 1.60 meters for women, with a minimum chest size of 0.87 for men.
• Candidates for positions in the federal fire service should be morally upright and debt-free.
