Kwara State Teaching Service Commission Recruitment 2025 – The Kwara State TESCOM has opened its application portal for teaching job recruitment and urges applicants to apply and adhere to the application closing date and requirements.

General Requirements & Information

1. Educational Qualifications:
   • Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed., B.Sc. Ed., or B.A. Ed.), or a Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects with a teaching certificate (e.g., PGDE or NCE).
   • Candidates without these qualifications will not be invited for the test.
   
   
2. O’Level Requirements:
   • Applicants must have a minimum of five O’ Level Credit Passes, including Mathematics and English, obtained in not more than two sittings.
   
   
3. Special Considerations:
   • Priority will be given to teachers of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).Required subject areas in Art and Commercial disciplines will be indicated on the application portal. Applicants whose subject areas are not listed should not apply.
   
   
4. Teaching Qualifications:
   • You must be registered with the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and upload a scanned copy of your TRCN certificate.
   
   
5. Age Limit:
   • Applicants must not be older than 35 years as of 31st January 2025.
   
   
6. NYSC Certificate:
   • Applicants must possess a valid National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate or an exemption certificate.
   
   
7. Willingness to Work:
   • The recruitment exercise is essentially to bridge the human resource gap in the schools in the hinterlands. Therefore, applications will be screened along that line.

8. Local Government Documentation:
   • Applicants must upload a certificate of their local government of origin, indicate their local government of residence, and provide evidence at various stages of the recruitment process.
   
   
9. Medical and Drug Testing:
   • All shortlisted candidates will undergo drug tests as part of the screening process.
   
   
10. Conduct and Role Model Behaviour:
    • Applicants exhibiting behaviours unbefitting of a teacher or role model will be disqualified at any stage.
    
    
11. Recruitment Stages:
    • Only applicants who meet the requirements will be invited for the CBT (Computer-Based Test).
    • After the CBT, shortlisted candidates will participate in interviews and peer teaching (practicum) at specified venues.
    • The cutoff mark for the CBT will be announced after the test.
