As part of the plan, the Federal Government is now inviting Skill Training Centres (STCs), Vocational Enterprise Institutions (VEIs), and Mastercraft Persons (MCPs) to register for accreditation. Once accredited, they will be eligible to receive government funding to train apprentices under the scheme.
The program aims to engage experienced artisans and private institutions to ensure wide access to vocational skills training across Nigeria. This will also help grow entrepreneurship and reduce unemployment among youths.
To register and become accredited under the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), applicants must meet specific requirements based on their training category.
